| Atlantic City is known for casinos, shopping, nightlife, the boardwalk and now gluten free cuisine! Culinary Centerfold loves to gamble on new flavors, places and plates. And lately, gluten free dishes are something to explore in Atlantic City... and Cuba Libre is where we hit the jack pot on menu options, presentation and taste! Cuba Libre is one of several fine dining restaurants located in The Quarter at Tropicana Casino & Resort. With locations in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Orlando and Washington, DC, this restaurant is full of seats and gluten free options for all. |
This Cuban restaurant and rum bar makes its diners feel like they are spending a night out in Havana complete with the décor, music, drinks and food.
For the most part, authentic Cuban cuisine is gluten free, and Cuba Libre’s menu was no exception. The waiter went through the entire menu with me and let me know if something was not gluten free or if an item could be substituted for something else.
I started with the Primo Mojito, their version of a classic mojito. This was definitely one of the best rums I have enjoyed – not too sweet and the perfect hint of rum.
